By carefully selecting materials, designing and manufacturing products, we strive to provide kitchen knives that are practical, elegant and natural. Here is what is included in this beautiful set:
Chef's knife/santoku knife: Both are great for cutting, slicing or mincing vegetables, fruits, fish and meat. But do not use a chef's knife/santoku knife to chop bones or frozen foods, as this can damage the blade. For these jobs, use bone choppers instead (not included in this knife set).
Slicing knives, utility knives, paring knives, and kitchen shears may not be used every time you cook, but they can play an important role if needed.
Wood block: With an upright design, this knife holder saves a lot of space in a kitchen that will never be large enough, no matter how big the house.
​Must be washed after use. After using the knife, be sure to clean it properly, dry it with a cloth, and put it back on the block. This knife set can only be cleaned by hand. NO DISHWASHER. Wash the knife with clean water and gentle detergent. Do not use cleaning products that contain bleach, oven cleaners, chlorine-containing products, or corrosive cleaning products. Because these cleaning agents are very corrosive to stainless steel, even after dilution. They form small puddles on the surface of the knife, affecting its appearance and performance. To protect the blade, also do not leave acidic or corrosive juices, such as tomato or lemon juice, on the blade surface for too long.
Wipe dry with a cloth after cleaning. Do not allow the knife to air dry naturally, otherwise stains will appear on the surface or the knife may rust. ​When cleaning and wiping the scissors, take special care to dry the narrow parts, such as the clasp and overlap, as well as the wrinkles on the blades. The knife block shall be placed in a dry and airy position.
​​The handle should also be washed and dried in a timely manner after use. Be careful not to submerge the knife in water or expose it to sunlight, which may damage the wood and cause it to lose its sheen or even crack.
Daily maintenance: To ensure optimal usage, different types of knives are chosen for cutting different foods. Avoid using the blade of a knife to beat food, and avoid using a knife on glass, marble, or granite surfaces, as this can blunt the blade or damage the knife. Regularly sharpen the blade to maintain edge sharpness. But serrated bread knives and steak knives should never be sharpened. Caution: Hold tight and move slowly while sharpening the knife. When using kitchen shears, make sure to hold the shears tightly before loosening the clasp. If you do not hold the shears to loosen the clasp, the shears will spring out and may cause injury.
Personal injury risk: These knives are very sharp and you must be very careful when using them. Be sure to hold the handle firmly at all times to prevent it from falling and injuring others. Never use your fingers to feel if the knife is sharp. When you hand the knife to someone else, be careful not to point it at him/her. When placing the knife, make sure you can see the knife, keep the handle toward yourself, and make sure the tool does not accidentally drop after being placed.
